Ebb & Flow

Ebb & Flow is a thorough compilation of 92 paintings I have created in recent years. This beautiful 9” x 9” book was produced and designed by Glen Beebe. The title perfectly expresses my art process as the best work comes after periods of rest and reflection followed by delving in with an unyielding focus.

I was fortunate to have my painting, titled Flotsam Debris, selected for the cover of the poetry book, A Thousand Cabbages. It is best described on the cover by John Sibley Williams who said, “This is a rare creation of song and scar, of vulnerability and emotional complexity. In Mary Mullen’s new collection, A Thousand Cabbages, the natural and human worlds mingle in accessible yet almost mythic ways.”
